Whether you’re heading from work to the bar, at a festival, or just short on time, dry shampoo can be one of man’s most treasured weapons in his grooming arsenal. We tested out Johnny’s Chop Shop Hobo Hair Dry Shampoo to see if their shampoo-in-a-can lives up to the billing.
What started as a residence on the 2nd Floor in Oxford Street’s Topshop in 2014 has turned into one of the UK’s most exciting new grooming brands. We’re talking about Johnny’s Chop Shop. Their Hobo Hair Dry Shampoo promises to de-grease your hair, leaving it with a healthy, matt look, and we’re pleased to report, they’re not kidding.
First of all, Hobo Hair Dry Shampoo is incredibly easy to use. Once you’ve shaken the can, simply spray continuously (from around 20cm) away for 3-5 seconds all over your hair, ensuring you reach the roots. Rub it in and then comb it out. It’s that simply.
We found it left for all hair types feeling fresh, noticeable softer and dare we say ‘washed’? It was even effective against styling products we’d used earlier in the day.
We should also make a note of Hobo’s scent too, which is incredibly manly and really takes you straight into the barber shop.
Overall, we can’t find any reason you wouldn’t have Johnny’s Chop Shop Hobo Hair Dry Shampoo in your grooming collection – especially given it’s only £4.50.
